Our program concentrates on improving athletic performance as well as reducing the risk of injury. We work with athletes of all ages to identify areas of deficit through athletic testing and orthopedic assessment and use these results to develop an individualized training program for each athlete. We do not use a cookie cutter approach to training our athletes because all athletes are NOT created equal. Everyone has their own athletic strengths and weaknesses as well as injury history which will require a workout tailored to meet their own very specific needs. The first half of each training session is devoted to developing explosiveness, speed, strength and agility. Then each session is ended with a conditioning session aimed at developing the appropriate sport-specific energy system. Our performance coaches all have professional degrees and certifications and are committed to providing the most up-to-date and proven techniques in injury prevention and sports performance enhancement to produce the best results for our clients.

Aquatic Classes - Times & Descriptions

Our 1,400 square foot pool was designed for multi-purpose use with a number of different stations including 4 different water depths, 4 underwater HydroWorx X-80 treadmills, 3 HydroRider underwater bikes, resistance jets and a bench/rest area with therapeutic jets. There are many benefits to exercising in water. First, the buoyancy of water reduces your body weight by 75% when submerged to your chest and by 90% when submerged to your neck. This allows walking or running to be virtually pain-free. The warm water rapidly warms-up muscles and tendons quickly preparing you for exercise. The hydrostatic pressure of the water decreases inflammation and improves circulation allowing movement in the water to be therapeutic. Water provides 12-14 times more resistance than air which is very beneficial for increasing strength and improving conditioning.
